The spreading of Mycrobakterium Tuberculosis is caused by unhealthy environment and bad ventilation and sanitation. These germs are easy to grow in humid environment. These germs spread out through droplet infection, therefore, to avoid it we need to keep the environment healthy.
This research uses correlation design, with independent variable: physical environment; and dependent variable: the risk of lungs disease spreading to the suffering family. The numbers of suffering population are twenty three. The sample in this research uses simple random sampling with the numbers of sample are eleven respondents. Data collections use interviews and observations. The data is tested by using Spearman statistic rank correlation test with SPSS formula version 16 under significant level (P < 0.05).
The result of this research shows some working areas of Kandangsapi center of society health in the year of 2009 noted that 36.36% possesses healthy environment characteristic, 63.63% has unhealthy environment characteristic. In the suffering family 9.09% respondents have risks to get contagious, 90.90% do not have risks to get contagious. From the statistic test, it is obtained that there is not any relationship between the physical environments towards the risk of lungs disease spreading to the suffering family. With the coefficient correlation of <0.000 with the significant level of P > 0.05, H0 is accepted.
Of the research it is obtained that for the area of Kandangsapi center of society health the physical environment factor is not yet stated as having risk of spreading lungs disease to the member of the family. This is caused by some influenced factors.
